Manage optional cookies

Cookies that are necessary for operation and authentication may be used without consent. Here you can accept, refuse or show again the choice for optional audience-measurement and usage-analytics cookies.

Current status:no saved choice.

Data controller

The data controller is Cédric Caudron, publisher of the AmusementPark website.

For any personal-data request, you can use the contact methods published on cedric-caudron.com.

Processed data

The website may process account data needed for the service: email address, provided first or last name, avatar, preferred language and profile settings.

Technical data may also be processed: IP address, date, viewed URL, browser, error logs and security information strictly useful for operation.

Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to provide website features, secure access, manage accounts, display public content and administer the project.

Processing required for operation relies on service performance or legitimate interest. Optional Matomo and Microsoft Clarity audience-measurement cookies rely on your consent unless a strictly exempt configuration is later implemented.

Matomo audience measurement

The website uses a self-hosted Matomo instance available at matomo.cedric-caudron.com with site ID 4.

Matomo may measure visited pages, navigation sequences, traffic sources, device type and technical browser information.

No third-party advertising tracking is added by this integration. Profile-related journeys may be measured only after optional-cookie consent, without sending private profile content as analytics events.

Microsoft Clarity usage analytics

The website uses Microsoft Clarity, project x7ca53dep2, to understand how public pages are used through aggregated usage analytics, heatmaps and session replay features.

Clarity may collect interactions such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movements, page rendering information, navigation context, device type and technical browser data. Private profile content must not be intentionally sent as analytics content.

Clarity is activated only after consent to optional cookies. The site sends the Clarity Consent API v2 signal so analytics storage is granted or denied according to your choice; you can withdraw that consent on this page.

Cookies and local storage

Strictly necessary cookies or storage may be used for session, security, language, theme, interface preferences and proper authentication behavior.

These necessary trackers may include session/API cookies, HTTP-only authentication cookies, anti-abuse mechanisms and locally stored preferences. They cannot be disabled from the banner because they condition the requested service.

The optional-cookie choice is stored in browser local storage and in a preference cookie so the same choice is not requested on every page.

Third-party cookies and Google authentication

The website offers Google OAuth / Sign in with Google. When you use this method, Google may place or read its own cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, fraud prevention and session maintenance.

These third-party trackers are necessary for the Google authentication requested by the user and are not controlled by the website’s Matomo/analytics consent.

Refusing AmusementPark optional cookies does not block authentication. However, a browser that blocks some third-party cookies may prevent or degrade Google sign-in.

Hosting and processors

The website is intended to be hosted on a server located in France via Hostinger. Project technical services, including MongoDB, MinIO and Matomo, may run on this VPS.

Data is not sold to advertisers. It may be processed by technical providers strictly required for hosting, security and operation.

Retention periods

Accounts are kept while the account exists or while a limited security obligation requires retention.

Technical logs are kept for a period proportionate to security and diagnostics. Matomo data must be configured with a limited period and reviewed regularly.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection for applicable processing of your data.

You can also withdraw analytics consent on this page and, if needed, lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
