Michael Völker

Museum founder and managing director

Michael Völker is one of the founders of Dinosaurier Museum Altmühltal and serves as its managing director. Since the 2016 opening, he has guided the development of the woodland trail, Museumshalle and new spaces devoted to original fossils.

His public work links family hospitality with scientific interpretation. He notably describes Urzeit-Werkstatt as the transformation of work once carried out behind the scenes into an experience visible to visitors.
