The founders of Europa-Park

Franz Mack and Roland Mack are associated with the creation of Europa-Park, which opened in Rust in 1975. Their project belongs to the wider Mack family story, already connected for generations with amusement rides and travelling showmen.

From showcase to destination

At first, Europa-Park also helped present Mack’s ride-building know-how in a living environment. Over time, that idea grew into a full leisure destination combining themed areas, hotels, shows, restaurants and major attractions.
