Angus G. Wynne Jr.

Angus G. Wynne Jr. was the Texas businessman and park developer behind the original Six Flags concept. His work helped define a regional theme park model built around themed lands, family entertainment, rides and hospitality.

Six Flags St. Louis was the third park in the original chain and the last Six Flags park founded by Wynne. That connection makes his name important when explaining the park’s place in amusement history.
