Eddy Meeùs

Eddy Meeùs is associated with the creation of Walibi Belgium.

The park’s official history explains that he first bought land with a lake in Limal for a water-ski project before developing the idea of a broader leisure park. Walibi opened on 26 July 1975 and became the first park created under the Walibi name.
