An idea devoted to children

Sylvie Mukamusoni developed Bambino Super City after identifying the shortage of organised play destinations around Kigali. Active in women’s entrepreneurship, she began construction in 2002 and brought seven partners into the project.

Building an unfamiliar kind of venue

Equipment had to be imported and the launch faced a difficult regulatory process. Despite those obstacles, the initiative established a lasting place where leisure, events and cultural learning meet.
