Familiepark Harry Malter

A family park established in 1992

Familiepark Harry Malter operates an estate in Heusden where an animal park, a large playground and human-scale rides form one distinctive whole. Its identity remains tied to the Malter family and to the gradual transformation of a former home for circus animals.

Development in successive stages

Across the seasons, the park has added new animal habitats, indoor areas, EDUFUN workshops and rides for children. This development favours renewal of the existing site and an offer shaped for families rather than large-scale expansion.

An independent operation

The company itself supports the care of the animals, play areas and facilities. Sarah Malter now continues the family story through regular additions and an estate conceived as a small green oasis near Ghent.
