Abenteuer Alm

A mountain of play near Düsseldorf

Abenteuer Alm is an outdoor family park at SnowWorld Neuss. Across its broad outdoor landscape, the alpine-village setting brings together timber, rocks, water and generous room for active play. Murmel the marmot accompanies a world designed mainly for children aged three to twelve.

The landscape is arranged around Kraxelberg, an imposing play mountain where bridges, nets and huts lead towards several slides. Elsewhere, the multi-lane Gipfelrennen invites side-by-side descents, while Adlerturm and Falkenflug add two experiences above ground level.

Climbing, bouncing and water play

Activities move between physical challenges and open-ended play: climbing routes, inflatable cushions, a zip wire, low structures for younger children and broad sandy areas. Wasserdorf and Gletscherquelle change the mood with pumps, channels and jets that invite children to handle water as well as cool down in it.

The park’s identity comes from the way these elements flow into one another. Paths are short, neighbouring scenery remains in view and adults have many vantage points around the active areas. The adjoining beer garden borders the park without replacing its play spaces.

A new outdoor experience

Abenteuer Alm welcomed its first visitors on 1 May 2025. Its opening gives SnowWorld Neuss a broad outdoor family landscape that carries the resort’s alpine world beyond snow sports.
