Tinka opens during the 1990 expansion and becomes one of the park’s familiar silhouettes. The large outdoor slide spans several eras of Aqualibi before receiving a new name in 2011.
When the renewed park reopens, Tinka adopts the name Zap. The new identity connects the historic slide with Aqualibi’s refreshed world while preserving its place in the outdoor landscape.
After more than three decades as Tinka and then Zap, the slide closes during the Surf Bay project. Its removal enables the major 2023 expansion and closes a long chapter in Aqualibi’s history.
