Afsona Land

A garden city of leisure in Namangan

Afsona Land, also known as Afsonalar Vodiysi or the Valley of Legends, stretches across a landscaped part of Namangan where water, gardens and monumental leisure buildings meet. Its scale gives it the character of a district rather than a compact fairground: broad paths run beside canals and fountains, while rides rise above restaurants, shops and cultural spaces.

The project grew from the former Mashrab Park and was conceived as a new public destination for the region. Its name evokes Uzbek tales and gives a shared identity to a complex that brings together an amusement park, a water park, an amphitheatre and quieter green spaces.

Landmarks above the gardens

The skyline is shaped by several striking attractions. A great observation wheel overlooks Namangan, a free-fall tower marks the centre from afar, and roller coasters add sharper silhouettes around the ride area. At ground level, carousels and family rides bring colour and movement between the avenues.

Water is another defining presence. Pools and slides form the aquapark, while lakes, waterfalls and musical fountains extend the aquatic theme into the surrounding landscape. The result is a place where the energetic amusement areas remain connected to promenades and planted spaces.

A civic stage as well as a park

Afsona Land also serves as one of Namangan’s large gathering places. Its amphitheatre and open grounds host concerts and public celebrations, giving the complex a life beyond its permanent attractions. That combination of spectacle, recreation and landscaped public space is the lasting idea behind the Valley of Legends.
