Fairground nights in Cap d’Agde

Lunapark Agde covers five hectares on the Île des Loisirs in Cap d’Agde. After dark, its lanes bring together around twenty adult rides, ten family experiences, twenty children’s attractions, skill games and food counters.

The line-up combines long-standing installations with travelling rides that may change between seasons. Apocalypse and Luna Pomme form the current roller coaster selection, while Peter Pan, the Lucky Luke Monorail, Montgolfières, Pirate, Number 1 Rider and Insider show the park’s variety in 2026.

A family venture begun in 1978

Paul Pubill and Alain Van de Kerkhove started the project in 1978 with around ten second-hand rides, following an invitation from Jean Miquel. The park settled permanently on the Île des Loisirs in 1980 with fifteen attractions across 15,000 square metres and roughly 500 visitors a day.

The Pubill family gradually expanded the site. The first major thrill rides arrived in 1999 and opened a new chapter; by 2016, Luna Park reported around eighty attractions across 45,000 square metres and as many as 5,000 daily visitors. That family history remains visible in a place where each ride retains its own operator.

The 2026 season

Admission is free and each ride or game is paid for separately. The official 2026 calendar announced a partial opening from 4 April and full operation from 19 June, with summer evenings starting at 8 pm. Parking was free before 10 pm and cost €2 afterward, while prices and accepted payment methods could differ by operator.
