A children’s park beside the Mediterranean

Funnyland occupies a permanent site at Les Sablettes, between the La Seyne-sur-Mer seafront, the beach and Fernand Braudel landscaped park. Free entry opens onto a compact world of colour, lights and child-sized rides in the middle of one of the Var coast’s best-known promenades.

This is not a travelling fair: the park has belonged to the Sablettes landscape for about thirty years. The Calmarini family, representing four generations of fairground people whose story moved from circus to rides, maintains it as a lasting family destination.

Twelve rides and a choice of games

The carousel, Crazy Chenille, Funny Car, the flying saucers and Funny Tower form the mechanical heart of the park. Funny Gliss, Funny Box and the trampoline bring slides, bouncing and active play, while stalls and coin-operated games preserve a lively fairground atmosphere.

Rides use tokens sold at the central ticket office. A day pass provides unlimited access to the rides except coin-operated games and prize-dispensing stalls, keeping the traditional pay-as-you-play format without an admission ticket.

A place whose rhythm follows the seasons

Afternoons prevail outside the summer season, especially at weekends and during school holidays. In July and August Funnyland becomes an evening park: the lights come on around dusk and the rides continue late, naturally extending a day spent at Les Sablettes.
