A lost city raised around water and machinery
Aqualantis imagines the remains of an ancient island civilisation reclaimed by explorers. Stone ruins, columns, water channels and mechanical inventions surround Abyssus, whose blue track launches through the landscape as the zone’s principal expedition.
The smaller attractions expand that fiction rather than merely filling space. Burning Engine, Magic Pump and Whirlpool Water Fight turn devices into play, while Stormy Ship, Submarine Dive and Tidal Wave Twister keep the sea present through rocking, diving and rotating motion.
The 2021 realm built as one connected narrative
Aqualantis opened with Abyssus in July 2021 and gave Energylandia one of its most coherent themed environments. Its lasting achievement is to make coaster, family rides and architecture describe the same rediscovered world, so every movement seems to belong to the city’s machinery and water.
