A Six Flags park born in Qiddiya

Six Flags Qiddiya City is the first Six Flags park developed outside North America. Set within Qiddiya City near Riyadh, it places the brand’s large-scale thrills against the Tuwaiq escarpment. Its architecture combines contemporary architecture, original stories and rides designed around this distinctive Saudi landscape.

The destination grew from a collaboration between Qiddiya Investment Company and Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. Its identity is not a copy of an existing park: every land tells its own story, from the entrance Citadel to Steam Town’s mechanical workshops, Twilight Gardens’ illuminated plants and the water-shaped world of Discovery Springs.

Six lands and a dramatic skyline

The official line-up comprises ten thrill rides and eighteen family experiences, alongside games, themed restaurants and shops. City of Thrills gathers the most powerful machines, while Grand Exposition reimagines an international midway. Valley of Fortune centres on exploration, and the remaining lands use water, invention or botanical fantasy to create a different rhythm.

Falcons Flight dominates the skyline and is presented as the world’s longest, tallest and fastest roller coaster. Iron Rattler introduces a tilting track at the edge of a drop, Spitfire uses three launches, and Sea Stallion gives riders a degree of control. Together, these attractions form a collection with a clear and unusual identity.

A landmark opening

An official ceremony took place on 29 December 2025, followed by the public opening on 31 December. The launch established Six Flags Qiddiya City as one of Qiddiya City’s first completed major destinations and as a milestone in Saudi Arabia’s broader development of entertainment and tourism.

The park now operates as an international destination in its own right. Its character comes not only from record-breaking rides, but from the way the escarpment, the six themed lands and a range stretching from interactive games to giant roller coasters are composed into one coherent place.
