Founded in 1988, Luna Park La Palmyre is a seasonal fairground park in Les Mathes, close to the seaside resort and its campsites. Every summer, illuminated signs, games and rides form a night-time promenade with free admission.
The park brings together very different experiences: the Jet Star roller coaster, thrill rides, family attractions, children’s rides and a panoramic Ferris wheel. The selection changes from season to season, while several emblematic installations return year after year.
Luna Park has grown and changed over more than three decades. Its official map separates major thrill rides, family experiences, children’s rides, roller coasters, skill games and several places to eat.
Evenings also unfold around Maison Ligot, Léon brasserie and the other food counters. Character parades and fireworks occasionally add to the programme, on dates announced by the park.
In 2026, the park opened every evening from 27 June to 29 August from 7 pm. Admission and parking were free, and the advertised fare was €3 per ride except for extreme attractions. Dates and prices for a later season must be checked once officially released.
