Toraja Terminal gives a strong regional identity to a transport space. Its name and decoration refer to the Toraja people of Sulawesi, known for highly recognisable architectural forms and ornament. The stop therefore remains more memorable than a purely functional station.
Like the park’s other terminals, it acts as a landmark within the internal circulation system and marks a transition towards another part of the grounds. Its character comes from combining transport with cultural reference, turning waiting into part of a sequence of Indonesian landscapes rather than an anonymous space.
