Kampung Gajah

The elephant village

Kampung Gajah brings the park’s elephant spaces together in a setting that feels quieter and more intimate than the broad safari landscapes. Visitors can watch the animals move, feed, play and interact with their carers. The close views make it easier to notice individual behaviour and the social life of the herd, rather than seeing the elephants only as part of a staged presentation.

The elephant museum and educational programmes add context to the experience. They explore the animals’ place in Indonesia, their long relationship with people and the challenges surrounding their protection. Bathing sessions provide one of the area’s liveliest scenes, while tropical planting and Balinese architectural details keep the setting rooted in the island.

Ganesha Park

A gateway to Balinese culture

Ganesha Park introduces a distinct change of mood. The large Ganesha figure, landscaped gardens and Hindu-inspired architecture give the area a more ceremonial presence than the animal habitats. It acts as a reminder that the safari experience belongs to Bali, turning the approach to the theatre into a meaningful part of the visit.

Bali Theatre and the Bali Agung production are the area’s main landmarks. Dance, music, costume and stage design extend the cultural details already visible outdoors. Elephant bathing can also be seen in this part of the park, creating an unusual meeting point between local culture, tropical scenery and wildlife observation.

Water Play Zone

A cool break in the tropical day

Water Play Zone changes the pace after the walking trails, performances and large animal areas. Pools, water features and slides create an open family space where the atmosphere becomes lighter and more playful. Bali’s vegetation and warm climate give the area a naturally tropical character.

The zone is compact enough to enjoy without losing the thread of the wider park visit. It adds a period of swimming and play to the land-based safari experience, clearly separate from the animal habitats. Splashes, movement and open-air relaxation provide a lively contrast to the quieter exhibits and museums.

Fun Zone

The park at its most playful

Fun Zone gathers the family rides in a brighter and busier setting than the broad animal landscapes. Atlantis Spin is the area’s dominant attraction, with twisting movement and spinning cars, while the carousel, mini train and Duck Boats offer gentler experiences. Ride sounds and constant motion give the zone an immediately recognisable energy.

The area works as a change of mood between wildlife discoveries. Families can step into a more traditional amusement-park atmosphere before returning to the trails or performances. Fun Zone remains compact and approachable, feeling more like a small tropical funfair within the safari park than a separate large theme park.
