When atmosphere becomes as important as the ride
With Deep in Africa, Phantasialand did more than add a new roller coaster. The park created a full environment of alleys, facades, vegetation and viewpoints where the attraction feels as if it emerges from the scenery rather than simply being placed inside it.
Black Mamba thus became one of the clearest symbols of the park’s new ambition. The coaster delivers thrills, but above all it acts as the backbone of an area that still ranks among Phantasialand’s most memorable spaces today.
