Avonturenpark Hellendoorn

A forest-side family theme park in Overijssel

Avonturenpark Hellendoorn is a Dutch family amusement park near the village of Hellendoorn, in the wooded landscape of Overijssel. The park is known for a compact layout, a broad family offer and a mix of roller coasters, water rides, play areas, shows and seasonal entertainment.

The visit works well as a full day out: thrill seekers can head for Balagos and RidderStrijd, families can alternate between Donderstenen, Rioolrat, Discovery Club and the water rides, while younger guests have many gentler rides and play areas around the park.

The site also includes Aquaventura Slidepark, an outdoor water-slide area that opens depending on season and weather. This makes Hellendoorn more than a simple ride park: on warm days it combines classic attractions with a separate splash-focused experience.

Because the park sits in a green environment, the atmosphere is different from a dense urban amusement park. Paths, trees and themed corners give the visit an accessible, relaxed rhythm, while the official map helps visitors move quickly between attractions, food locations, shows and services.
