Description

Description

A painted salon in rotation

Carrousel 1900 brings carved horses, mirrors, gilding and painted panels beneath a circular ceiling. Every detail uses the ornamental vocabulary of the great Belle Époque carousels.

Motion from another age

The mounts rise and fall while the scenery turns like an entire room. Reflections and paintings follow one another to a regular organ rhythm, creating a journey that is more visual than fast.

Within a park shaped by the Campion family’s fairground culture, the carousel is one of its clearest symbols. It preserves the memory of the ride as a work of art as much as an attraction.
