Dragon's Tail Coaster

A hillside coaster above Labadee

Dragon’s Tail Coaster is the main ride associated with Adventure Ocean Oasis. It is an alpine-style coaster by Wiegand, opened in 2009, with a track of about 680 metres. The ride uses the natural slope of Labadee, so the landscape is a major part of the experience.

The experience on the descent

After the cable lift, the fun comes from the downhill run: curves, dips, waves and open views over the coast. It is not a looping roller coaster, but it can still feel lively because the vehicle follows the hillside and keeps the rider close to the terrain.

Good to know before riding

When Labadee is included on a sailing, access can depend on Royal Caribbean’s excursion rules, local operating conditions and the day’s schedule. Visitors sensitive to speed, heights or sudden changes of direction should take time to decide before boarding.
