A children’s park beside Aquabest

DippieDoe opened in Best in 1999 on the shore of the Aquabest lake, north of Eindhoven. Its first indoor hall already established the idea that still defines the place: giving young children room to climb, slide and discover their first rides in an easy-to-understand setting.

A second hall and an outdoor park later enlarged the destination founded by the Van Pelt family. Today the year-round Binnenhaven is paired with the seasonal Buitenhaven. The contrast between covered play and lakeside recreation gives DippieDoe its distinctive rhythm.

Two harbours with very different adventures

Inside, Vuurtoren, Klauter Kajuit and Grote Golf turn a large hall into a vertical landscape. Dreumesbaai and Ballenbaai welcome the youngest children, while Stormtoren, Donut Glide and Tuimelaar bring falling, sliding and turning into the mix.

Outdoors, Tyfoon and Dolle Pier are the park’s family roller coasters. Slinger Sloep, Dolle Dobber, Draaikolk and Choco Loco add different kinds of movement, while Dwaalduin, Piratengolf, Speelduin and the large playgrounds leave more room for exploration.

A renewed identity that keeps its human scale

The 2018 renovation reshaped the park with seven additions and a new coaster. Dippie, the first official mascot introduced in 2025, now connects the old indoor-play logo with today’s beach-and-adventure world. Compact, enclosed and designed for children up to twelve, DippieDoe remains a regional park where indoor and outdoor experiences complement each other.
