The park's creative archives brought to life

The Efteling Museum brings together drawings, objects, decorative elements and memorabilia from different periods of the park. The windows bring together the sketches of the forms finally constructed and show that the tales, attractions and characters were born from a long work of illustration, sculpture and staging.

The visit reveals details which sometimes disappear behind the final experience: a model, a sign, an accessory or a fragment of an attraction reveals the hand of the creators. The pieces don’t just tell a timeline; they show the materials, styles and ideas that have shaped the identity of Efteling.

A living memory at the heart of Anton Pieckplein

Installed in an environment already marked by the artistic beginnings of the park, the museum naturally links heritage and current creation. The preserved objects recall the disappeared attractions as much as the works still visible. This proximity between archives and alleys gives the place a particular function: to show that the history of Efteling remains present in its contemporary settings.
