The Belvédère is one of the signature landmarks of Parc d’Olhain: a 40-metre panoramic structure built on the highest point of the site. Visitors climb through a sequence of platforms, with the top viewpoint reaching about 210 metres above sea level and opening a wide 360-degree view over the former mining basin, the Monts de Flandres, the Artois hills and the surrounding countryside.
It is not only a viewpoint: two slides, placed at 6 and 10 metres, make the descent more playful. The experience works well as a first stop in the park, a meeting point, or a quiet scenic break before moving on to the zip line, the play areas or the forest activities.
