White Hubertus deer are a pale colour form of the red deer. Their almost white coat immediately catches the eye across meadows and woodland edges, where it contrasts strongly with the vegetation. The large antlers of the males add an especially majestic appearance.
These social animals travel and rest as a group while calmly following movement around their territory. They appear interested in the toboggans passing nearby and sometimes stand close to the fence. Their rare colouring and composed presence make them one of the park’s most recognisable animal landmarks.
