Nele and Cara, two inseparable miniature donkeys

Bayern-Park’s miniature donkeys live with the small ponies in a meadow and farm setting. Grey Nele and brown Cara form an easy-to-recognise pair. Their long ears and compact bodies give them an immediately friendly presence.

A bond visible in every movement

The two donkeys are almost always close together. They follow one another across the pasture, rest side by side and spend time grooming each other. That strong relationship gives the enclosure particular charm: rather than watching two separate animals, visitors meet companions who organise their entire day together.
