Wildwasser-Rafting places its passengers in large circular boats that rotate freely with the current. The queue already feels like a working mine, filled with coal crates, tools and industrial details. That setting continues along the course through rocky scenery, mining carts and work scenes, while the surrounding greenery gives the journey a wilder edge.

A course that never turns out quite the same

Rapids, swirling water and the approach to the waterfall keep changing the boat’s direction, so nobody can predict who will face the next splash. A conveyor then carries the rafts towards the upper part of the ride before a livelier run back down the channel. The mixture of drifting, spinning and sudden movement gives the experience a varied rhythm.

The extended journey allows the scenery to matter as much as the water effects. Depending on the boat’s rotation and its meeting with the waves, the ride can feel playfully damp or much more refreshing. A photograph near the end often captures the least prepared reactions.
