Description
Beyond the black gate of Thalonien
Thaolon begins with an invitation to enter a hidden world. The large black gate opens onto a dim indoor queue where mirrors, flickering light and pictures of dwarfs gently unsettle the surroundings. The mood is mysterious without becoming a horror experience, as though visitors were descending into the tunnels of an underground community still at work.
A drop tower that tells a story
The gondola does not simply rise once and fall. It bounces, descends and rotates past several levels of scenery, allowing riders to glimpse the Thalonians working in their mines. Every movement reveals another part of the indoor world, while the music links the scenes and gives the journey a clear progression.
Thaolon works especially well because its motion serves the story. The sudden rises and drops provide surprise, but the characters, tools and mining scenes encourage riders to keep looking around. The attraction is the narrative heart of Thalonien and gives Bayern-Park a family indoor experience with an atmosphere that is immediately recognisable.
