Wasserspielwelt Pirateninsel feels like a small naval battle turned into a playground. Two wooden ships invite children to climb, use ladders and reach the slides, while the central island quickly makes it clear that staying dry is unlikely. Creating the splashes yourself

The water features react to the children using them. Buttons activate spraying flowers, fountains, water curtains and cannons, allowing every visitor to choose the next attack. Cannon duels keep both sides of the area lively, while unpredictable jets make the play feel different from one moment to the next.

Around the edge, adults can sit beneath umbrellas or on shaded benches while keeping the whole area in sight. The nearby kiosk extends the break with drinks, ice cream and quick food. Pirateninsel becomes one of Bayern-Park’s liveliest places on warm days, offering a genuine water-play experience rather than a simple collection of cooling sprays.
