Polyppen, Bakken’s colourful whirl

Polyppen catches the eye with its octopus shape and moving arms. Once seated, the rhythm quickly becomes playful: the centre turns, the arms carry the gondolas and the movements overlap until the ride becomes a lively whirl.

It has the fairground personality Bakken wears so well: visible, expressive, made for laughter as much as for a touch of dizziness. It is fun to watch before boarding and just as fun to step off slightly disoriented, still carried by the park’s energy.
