King Kong

A peaceful walk interrupted by a giant gorilla

King Kong turns a simple encounter into a scene from an adventure film. Passengers enter a large gondola at the creature’s feet, before the gorilla comes to life and grabs the vehicle as though the whole family has wandered too close to its territory.

The gondola leaves the ground in the giant’s hands, rises above Adventure Valley and follows his sudden movements. The sensation is less aggressive than the size of the creature suggests, but the elevated position and the gorilla’s stare give the scene its theatrical impact.

A ride built mainly around spectacle

King Kong is almost as entertaining to watch as it is to experience. From the paths, the monumental figure immediately draws attention as passengers disappear into its grip before returning to the ground.
