The clown watches over a large colourful slide

Glijbaan Kinderland is easy to recognise from the enormous clown face above the structure. After climbing the stairs, children find several lanes descending through the bright colours of the covered hall.

The start quickly becomes a small race: everyone chooses a lane, sets off and tries to reach the bottom first. The action is simple, yet the height, slope and presence of other riders give every descent plenty of energy.

The attraction turns the idea of a timed challenge into a format created for younger visitors. Parallel lanes encourage comparisons, the clown acts as a memorable landmark and the finish often leads directly to a request for another race.
