    Air Race opens above the lake

    Vekoma’s suspended coaster opens with brightly coloured aeroplane cars. Presented as Europe’s first suspended roller coaster, it becomes the oldest coaster still operating at Bobbejaanland.

    Air Race becomes Dreamcatcher

    The ride receives open floorless trains and leaves its aeroplane theme behind for a western world inspired by the Anasazi and the flight of an eagle.

    A virtual-reality experience is added

    For the 2018 season, headsets turn the ride into an eagle flight over mysterious landscapes without changing the track or the coaster’s movement.

  4. 2021Operational change

    Dreamcatcher drops virtual reality

    After the 2020 season, the headsets are removed and the attraction returns to its classic suspended flight above the lake.
