La Mer de Sable

A Wild West adventure in the heart of the forest

La Mer de Sable has a setting unlike any other amusement park. Deep in the Ermenonville forest, a broad expanse of sand suddenly opens through the trees and gives the Wild West theme an unusually natural presence. Pine woodland, sandy paths, frontier façades and wide views create a strong sense of escape from the moment guests enter.

Three themed worlds with different rhythms

The park unfolds through La Vallée des Mississi’Ptits, Le Canyon du Color’Ado and Le Désert du Nouveau-Mexique. The first favours gentle exploration, small vehicles and playful rides for younger adventurers. The canyon brings together livelier courses, water attractions and several family roller coasters. Beyond it, the desert spreads around the great dune with spinning rides, elevated views and a more open atmosphere.

Rides designed to be shared

The line-up mixes roller coasters, water descents, mechanical rides, walk-through adventures and play areas. Silver Mountain, Wild Buffalo, Cheyenne River and La Rivière Sauvage provide the bigger bursts of energy, while Little Hawk, Le Bayou des Chikapas, Mississi’Piste and Le Ranch de Lilly Bell offer gentler discoveries. Le Train des Sables ties these experiences to the landscape as it travels across the dune and through the woodland.

Live action is part of the park’s identity

The Wild West atmosphere does not stop at the scenery. Stunts, comedy, stage effects and equestrian performance bring the park’s characters to life in several shows encountered throughout the visit. This strong connection with horses and live action gives La Mer de Sable a distinctive personality, where rides, nature and western storytelling remain closely linked to a family experience.
