Bao Son Paradise Park

A broad leisure park on the edge of Hanoi

Bao Son Paradise Park, known locally as Công viên Thiên đường Bảo Sơn, brings together several very different kinds of experience within one large site. Rides sit alongside animal areas, immersive cinemas, landscaped spaces and sets inspired by famous places around the world, with families and younger visitors playing a central role throughout the park.

The amusement ride complex is the liveliest part of the visit. Roller coasters, drop rides, a Ferris wheel, spinning attractions and virtual-reality games share the area with Kids Town and a collection of cinemas. The mix makes it easy to move between thrills, indoor entertainment and gentler breaks rather than following one single type of ride all day.

A different side of the park appears in the Safari, the Aquarium and Happy Farm. Raised walkways, a river cruise, big cats, giraffes and elephants give the Safari a strong scenic character. The Aquarium combines an underwater tunnel, freshwater and marine displays, exhibition galleries and a dinosaur kingdom. Happy Farm feels more relaxed, focusing on small animals, gardens, creative activities and outdoor play.

The Traditional Craft Village and the World Wonders Film Studio add another layer to the park. One explores pottery from Bát Tràng, silk, embroidery, silverwork and water puppetry; the other moves between sets inspired by the Taj Mahal, Singapore, France, Hobbiton and Mexico. Shows, restaurants, several styles of accommodation and the Cosmos Theater extend the experience beyond the rides themselves.

Bao Son Paradise Park therefore feels more like a large leisure estate than a single-theme park. Its appeal lies in the contrast between its many settings and in the freedom to build a visit around rides, animals, performances, visual landmarks or a full family day out.
