A crocodile-like snout on a fish’s body

Cá Sấu hỏa tiễn immediately draws attention through its long snout and stretched silhouette. The crocodile resemblance is strongest around the head, while the streamlined body and rear-set fins give the impression of a fish built for short bursts of movement.

In the freshwater tank, it may remain almost motionless before resuming its swim with surprising discretion. Its ancient-looking profile differs sharply from the carp and discus nearby. The combination of a heavy head, thick scales and measured movement makes it especially easy to recognise.
