After closure, Mirapolis enters a deconstruction phase. Equipment is sold, relocated or dismantled depending on the case. The site gradually loses what made it recognisable as a theme park.
Gargantua's destruction in 1995 is the strongest image of this end. Sources do not all phrase the exact date in the same way, but they place the giant's disappearance at the end of summer 1995.
