In 1989, Mirapolis relies on fairground operators grouped around GIE Mira-Fêt. Fairground-style rides are added quickly, in a more opportunistic way than the park's original large themed developments.
This adaptation does not solve the deeper problem. The withdrawal of Banque Arabe Internationale d'Investissement weakens the financial balance and leads to the bankruptcy filing, then the liquidation of Paris-Parc.
