After a difficult first season, Mirapolis looks for a second wind. Club Med's involvement in operations reflects the aim of professionalising management and rebuilding confidence around the park.
The most visible signal is Miralooping. The Vekoma coaster opens in July 1988 and gives the park a clearer thrill ride for coaster fans.
The relaunch is not enough to solve the structural imbalance. Mirapolis still carries the weight of its investments, positioning and attendance that is not strong enough to secure the model long term.
