Berta, the Bobovka Buky alpine coaster

Berta is the alpine coaster of Areál Mladé Buky, presented to visitors as Bobovka Buky. It is a Wiegand steel mountain coaster where riders sit in small alpine cars, control their speed with the brake lever and descend through the slope above the resort.

The official resort presentation highlights a route of almost 1,500 metres, two 360-degree carousels, banked turns, humps and a maximum speed of about 40 km/h. Coaster databases list the ride as a Wiegand Alpine Coaster opened in 2011, with a measured coaster length of 985 metres and no inversions.

The experience is family-friendly but still active: it starts with a cable lift, then follows the hillside with views of the Krkonoše Mountains and Rýchory. Children may ride from age 3 with an adult, while solo rides are permitted from age 8 according to the resort information.
