A funfair rooted in Argelès

Luna Park d’Argelès-sur-Mer has filled summer evenings with light since 1975. It began with six rides opposite Le Roussillonnais campsite, moved to its present Impasse Copernic site in 1993 and became one of the resort’s enduring popular attractions.

The fair occupies one hectare in the Plage-Nord leisure area. Admission remains free: visitors walk through the illuminated lanes, choose individual rides and pay each showman separately, surrounded by the music, neon and sweet treats of a Mediterranean seaside fair.

Classics within a changing line-up

Grand Huit and Crazy Dance are among the long-standing landmarks. Cobra, bumper cars, children’s rides and large thrill machines share the grounds with skill games; one ride is regularly renewed so the mix continues to change between seasons.

The stalls extend that variety with duck fishing, shooting, coin games, ring toss and plush prizes. Food service starts before the rides, accompanying a night-time walk where families, teenagers and holidaymakers mingle well beyond midnight.

A short season beside the Mediterranean

In 2026 the Luna Park welcomed visitors from 23 June to 6 September, every evening from 8 pm to 1 am, with food service from 7 pm. The tourist office already lists a 26 June–6 September 2027 season; detailed hours have not yet been published.
