Space Leisure installs a permanent show in Mexico using mechanical characters, music and colourful scenery. The theatre strengthens the role of animated storytelling in the park of the 1980s.
Ageing figures and increasing maintenance needs bring the show to an end. The building remains and will be reused a few years later.
The theatre is converted for stereoscopic films and physical effects. The site therefore keeps its indoor entertainment role while leaving the former mechanical characters behind.
