DraculaLand

DraculaLand is a large-scale leisure destination project announced for Gherghița, near Bucharest. The complex is not yet open to the public. It is being developed as a world where the Dracula legend, Transylvanian landscapes and elements of Romanian culture would meet the style of a modern theme park.

The announced park is arranged around six lands: Moonlit District, Family Kingdom, Transylvania, Dracula’s Castle, Port of New Orleans and London Town. Its published masterplan brings together more than forty proposed experiences, including roller coasters, dark rides, family attractions, live entertainment, immersive exhibitions and interactive games. Dracula’s Castle is intended to become one of the destination’s main visual and storytelling landmarks.

DraculaLand is planned as more than a stand-alone theme park. The wider resort concept also includes an aquatic and thermal complex, several hotels, a major events arena, shopping areas and digital entertainment activities. The stated ambition is to create a complete short-break destination combining thrills, themed exploration, shows and accommodation on one site.

For now, the lands, attractions and services described remain part of the announced project. Their names, content and delivery may change as development progresses. DraculaLand should therefore be understood as a destination in preparation rather than a park that can currently be visited.
