4 milestones tracing the story of DraculaLand.
Beginning in 2017, Dragoș Dobrescu starts acquiring agricultural plots near the A3 motorway at Gherghița. Eight years of consolidation create a compact 160-hectare site made up of 83 parcels, providing the land base for the future resort.
On 3 December 2025, the DraculaLand project is officially launched at Gherghița. The announced private investment exceeds €1 billion and combines a six-land theme park with more than forty attractions, hotels, an aquatic and thermal complex, an arena, retail, a motor circuit and a technology hub.
ArticleRăzvan Bârsan’s Dracula Land Arena is named among the winners of the 52nd World Architecture Community Awards cycle in the Architecture/Designed category. The recognition honours the concept for the multifunctional arena planned within the resort.
