Aztlán Parque Urbano is a major amusement park in Mexico City, built on the historic Chapultepec amusement-park site. It opened as the new successor to La Feria de Chapultepec, combining mechanical rides, family attractions, cultural experiences, food areas, souvenir shops and public urban-park spaces.
The park is notable because its entrance is free while rides and packages are managed through a cashless Aztlán wallet. This makes the site work both as a city walk destination and as a classic amusement-park visit, with visitors choosing individual rides, unlimited packages or a more relaxed restaurant-and-walk experience.
The skyline is dominated by Aztlán 360, an 85-metre Ferris wheel overlooking Chapultepec and Mexico City. The current ride mix also includes family roller coasters such as Mocha, Marometas, Laka Laka and Serpentikha, alongside flat rides, bumper cars, children’s attractions, a flying-theater style experience and skill games.
The place also has an important historical layer: several famous former La Feria rides, including the wooden Montaña Rusa, Quimera, Ratón Loco and Cascabel, remain important to the story of the location even when they are no longer operating there.
