Bellewaerde Aquapark

An indoor water park next to Bellewaerde

Bellewaerde Aquapark is the covered water park of the Bellewaerde site in Ieper/Ypres, West Flanders. It operates as a separate second gate next to the main park, designed for a day focused on water slides, splash play, relaxation and a warm tropical atmosphere.

The park is especially suited to families. Younger children can enjoy water play areas, older guests can try raft slides and racing slides, and visitors looking for a slower pace can spend time in the lazy river, whirlpools, Secret Cave or outdoor garden when the weather allows it.

A tropical experience available year-round

The main aquatic areas are covered and heated, so most of the visit does not depend on the weather. The outdoor garden adds an open-air break when conditions allow. Wood, rocks, plants, clear water and adventure details create a setting that is easy to understand: slide, play, eat, relax and look at the aquarium.

Opened in 2019 as a major addition to the Bellewaerde site, the water park complements the neighbouring amusement park without being the same visit. For guests, it is a destination in its own right, with its own tickets, opening hours, services, restaurants and parking.
