Disney Adventure World is the second theme park at Disneyland Paris. Created as Walt Disney Studios Park, it moved beyond the film-studio theme of its early years to immerse guests in Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories. Its new name reflects a far-reaching transformation: scenery, landscape and live entertainment now form a destination built around immersive worlds.
World Premiere is the threshold to this identity. Beneath a star-filled sky, a Hollywood boulevard evokes a major premiere through cinema façades, glowing signs and palm trees. The passage opens onto World Premiere Plaza, where theatres and outdoor stages preserve the park’s strong connection with performance.
Adventure Way joins the established heart of the park to its newest expansion. The landscaped promenade follows Adventure Bay, a broad lake that creates open views towards the rooftops and mountains of Arendelle. Gardens, terraces, pavilions and details inspired by several films line the avenue, while Raiponce Tangled Spin turns the lantern festival into a luminous celebration.
World of Frozen recreates the kingdom of Arendelle through its harbour, castle, mountain and Nordic village. Frozen Ever After, encounters with Anna and Elsa, waterfront performances, shops and dining all belong to one continuous setting. Each façade adds to the story, and the abundance of details makes the land feel like a lived-in place rather than a collection of unrelated experiences.
Marvel Avengers Campus has the energy of an active Super Hero base, with missions involving Spider-Man and Iron Man, rooftop appearances and action in the streets. Worlds of Pixar changes the mood through the colour, humour and playful shifts of scale associated with Ratatouille, Cars, Toy Story and Finding Nemo. The two worlds remain visually distinct while sharing the same idea: placing people inside the action rather than outside the story.
Live entertainment is central to the park. Mickey and the Magician combines illusion with familiar Disney stories, TOGETHER brings Pixar characters, music and theatrical scenery onto one stage, and Marvel heroes appear throughout their campus. On Adventure Bay, Disney Cascade of Lights turns the lake into a nighttime theatre shaped by water, light and aerial figures.
Restaurants and shops extend each world through their design as much as through what they serve or sell. Bistrot Chez Rémy plays with the viewpoint of a rat in an oversized Parisian dining room, PYM Kitchen transforms the scale of food with a laboratory twist, and the venues along Adventure Way open onto the lake. In Arendelle, carved wood, crafted objects and Nordic flavours reinforce the impression of a real village.
Disney Adventure World continues to evolve. A land inspired by The Lion King is under construction, and a family attraction based on Up has also been announced for Adventure Way. The park’s current identity does not erase its past: it brings together its tradition of performance, its established worlds and a new landscape designed to welcome further stories.
